WHEN A CUSTOMER ASKS HOW TO MEASURE THEIR FOOT LENGTHUpdated 17 days ago


  1. Identify the request


    • IF the customer asks how to measure their foot

    • IF the customer is unsure what size to select

    • IF the customer is between sizes

    • IF the customer asks about half sizes

    • IF the customer asks about narrow vs wide fit

  2. Provide measurement instructions


    • IF the customer does not know their foot length


      • Instruct them to measure their foot length and use the size chart to determine their correct size.

      • Clarify that the video may show a different regional website, but the measuring method is the same.

  3. Direct to correct size chart


    • IF the customer is shopping for women’s styles


      • Direct them to the Women’s Sizing Chart on the website.

    • IF the customer is shopping for men’s styles


      • Direct them to the Men’s Sizing Chart on the website.

  4. Half size guidance


    • IF the customer is a half size AND has a narrow to average width foot


      • Instruct them to select the size range that includes their half size.


        • Example: UK 6.5 → select UK 6 – 6.5.

    • IF the customer is a half size AND has a wide foot


      • Instruct them to select the size range up.


        • Example: UK 6.5 (wide foot) → select UK 7 – 7.5.

  5. Width clarification


    • IF the customer does not specify foot width


      • Ask whether their foot is narrow, average, or wide before advising on half sizes.

  6. Escalation


    • IF the customer remains unsure after reviewing the size chart and measurement guidance


      • AI Agent should acknowledge and then hand over the ticket.

    • IF the customer requests medical or clinical advice
