However, in terms of water getting inside them, as they are all one-piece foam construction and do not contain any fabric or glued parts, they are waterproof, water cannot get inside them and does not damage them.When walking in wet conditions, Archies Flip Flops and Slides usually have great grip, however, they are not non-slip. The grip that we use is the herringbone pattern. It&apos;s a really good grip and it&apos;s the grip that is used in most tennis shoes for use on clay courts and skateboard shoes, both sports that require top grip! This grip has good abrasion resistance and in our experience, does not readily wear down unless you are really heavy on your feet and doing really high miles or have had them for a long period.Our advice when wearing them on slippery surfaces is the same that we would give to someone wearing any type of footwear on a wet and slippery surface, slow down and be extra careful!

Due to the specialized nature of our footwear and the lack of suitable manufacturers in Australia, we manufacture our footwear at our partner factory in China.Our factory is one of the best in the world at making this type of footwear and also manufactures for the big brands. As such, they have extremely strict HR and Environmental policies in place. The conditions at the factory are excellent. Their workers work normal hours and are paid well. They have a separate HR department and workers receive all the benefits such as annual leave, sick pay, etc.We have an excellent relationship with our factory. We communicate on a daily basis and frequently visit them when possible.&#xA0;We are looking to establish factories in other countries.
